I AM WONDERFULLY SUPPORTED.
This poster reminds children – and adults – of all ages that we are beautifully supported in life. My Hand of Trust encourages children to think about who they can turn to when they need help: someone they trust, who will listen to their thoughts and feelings.
 
In Australia, this is often introduced in the early grades, but it is important to revisit in all year levels. It encourages children to speak up, share from the heart and know a problem shared is a problem halved, not to stop asking for help till you feel the help given that helps and heals.
 
I often remind children that we have more than five people we can trust – we have other fingers, and even our toes – and to keep asking for help until their needs are met.
